What I’m really asking is that are there any well-established MMA’ists who came out from Texas and possibly if they trained in Texas, what gyms might they be from?

I am months away from becoming a police officer. I will make this a career decision. Anyway, I want to learn muay thai and I also want to learn jiu jitsu. Would it be more effective to learn the two styles seperately or would it be just the same effectiveness to learn muay thai and jiu jitsu in a mma class that also includes wrestling(yes, i found one that does combine the three)? Thanks in advance for all serious answers!

i know that if it is possible then it must be difficult. the reason i ask is because there are no trainers in my area and i cant afford to move. some help would be apreciated.

I’m totally addicted to MMA. My favorite fighter is Georges St. Pierre. He’s one of the most well rounded fighters out there right now, which makes him really interesting to watch.
