Currently, I’m 6′ and 153 pounds. I want to gain as much weight as I can. What would be the healthiest, quickest, most effective way to gain some. I work out in the gym and all I do is tone my muscles, there is no weight gain. Someone give me som good advice. Maybe someone with experience in MMA fighting that knows about going up and down weight classes. Thanks!
I am now a licsensed CSAC MMA/Boxing Manager and want to get a feel as to what the average cut would be. All feedback is greatly appreciated.
How do MMA fighters train to have hard chins and heads and bodys so they can take a punch without getting KO?After I get back from Iraq I want to become ameture MMA fighter. So I want to know some of the fundamentals.
I do but I just want to see if you do.
The first guy almost got them all right.
Pretty straightforward. It obviously depends on the standard of living you want to have but for me if I decide to fight MMA I understand that I’m going to try to get by on as little as possible. Do most fighters who have day jobs work part time? And if you’re a fighter who works full time do you feel like it has a negative impact on your ability to train effectively?
