Is Mixed Martial Arts Similar To The Fighting Technique Used In The Movie “taken”?
In the Movie “Taken”, the main character(Known in the movie as Bryan Mills) is a very good fighter. I am planning on attending Mixed Martial art classes in which they will be teaching me stuff from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and some other stuff, and I was wondering that if I mastered Mixed Martial arts, would my fighting style and technique be similar to that of Bryan Mills? Would I be able to do to people what he does?

MMA is not a fighting style…it’s a mixture of styles, hence mixed martial arts. You will not master all styles, as it takes years of intense training just to get good at one or two styles. When you attend these classes, they dont teach MMA, but instead they teach the different arts individually. It’s your job to attend the different classes. The answer above seems right in saying Liam Neeson’s character looked like he was using Hapkido. There was no BJJ or anything else in the movie. I would recommend you focus on what you like, because learning one art takes alot of attention and hard work.

What you saw in Taken, was most like hapkido:
throat strikes
using elbows and low kicks
knees

No. Keep in mind that Taken was a movie. If you want to fight that way become an actor.
